Rosenbach is Part of New Civil War Cell Phone Tour
Just in time for Lincoln 200, the Philadelphia Civil War Consortium has launched a new cell phone tour of 12 Civil War sites in Center City Philadelphia. The Rosenbach was picked to be part of the tour based on the amazing stories in our collection, so check it out to hear an excerpt from Lincoln’s Baltimore Address, but also to hear about Robert E. Lee’s resignation, John Henry Brown’s distaste for the war, and Major Alexander Biddle’s letters home to his children.
To access the tour, dial 215-399-9898 and enter the number for the stop. There is no extra charge for calling the tour number, although you will be charged for your cell phone minutes.
