Lincoln was an oustanding communicator using the tools of his own time, so it\’s fun to think about what he\’d do with modern ones. It also makes me wonder whether technology has a negative effect on the ability to speak, and/or on an audiences ability to listen. If the Gettysburg Address were a Powerpoint would anyone have listened to the speech or would they all have been jotting down the keywords on the screen?
